We want to rent out our nice mountain hut. Lake Sjusjön is a great year-round destination. The cabin is centrally located on the Nature Style outside the barrier, and the trail is short up to the top with the Fire Lodge café or Rømåssetra. In winter, the trail passes right by and the ground is 200m away.
We love our cottage and want to rent primarily to other families or other quiet guests. We think our cabin is great for, for example, two families of friends or a large family with grandparents, children and grandchildren.

The space
The cabin is located at the parking at the end of the dead end with little traffic and immediate access to nature with trail/trail net. Withdrawn from the road and with parking on the plot. Slalombakken is 200m from the cabin. Designed for charging electric car. Here the conditions are right for a relaxing and quiet break.

The cabin is well suited for one or two families with children, and there is a high chair available for guests.

Where you’ll be

Sjusjøen, Innlandet, Norway

Lake Sjusjön:
Lake Sjusjön Mountain Bike Park has different bike tracks at all levels. Here you can rent fully cushioned bikes for all ages. Otherwise, Lake Sjusjön offers a great mountain area for hiking or cycling. It is possible for you to borrow our two perfectly good bikes to explore trails and other long journeys. You have to bring a helmet yourself. There is also a roller ski trail by the ski centre. Lake Husky Tours rents canoes. Sunday open grocery store on Sjusjøen.

It's a 30-minute drive from our cabin to Lillehammer city centre. From the hut to Hunderfossen family park it takes about 45 minutes to drive.

In winter, Sjusjøen delivers world-class cross-country skiing with continuous preparation of slopes. There is also an alpine facility with 6-seater chairlift, where it is also possible to rent equipment. The cabin is located in the middle of the slalom hill and the trail goes straight past.

For those who want larger hills, Hafjell Alpine resort in Øyer is about 45 minutes away. It is also possible to take the trip to Kvitfjell or Skei. There are also many other activities on Sjusjön, such as dog riding.
