Our Hayloft room is ensuite and on the first floor of the barn, adjacent to the Farmhouse. It is reached via an outside staircase, has a sloping ceiling and fantastic views across the valley and surrounding farmland. Tv, Tea & Coffee tray, +WIFI
We are in a unique location, close to Bath, Corsham and Chippenham, but very rural and quiet. The views are stunning, with lots of wildlife close by and lovely walks to enjoy.
We offer plenty of off-road parking and have storage for bikes too.
Guests have private access to the bedroom, with their own key.
Breakfast is now on the basis of DIY Continental Style in the bedrooms.
Guests may also sit on the grassy patio area in front of the barn, in nice weather.
Interaction with guests
I make all the bookings and hopefully chat to guests before they arrive here. I check-in guests and familiarise them with all the facilities. Always happy to talk to guests about the local area and help them with any information they may need. I do provide lots of information about the local area and am always willing to lend OS maps etc.
It is a beautiful location , surrounded by countryside and woods. We are a working Dairy/Beef farm, so guests may see the cows up close whilst they are grazing nearby.
Guests are welcome to walk from the farm and are able to access may waymarked paths and byways.
There is a wealth of interesting places to visit within easy access of this accommodation e.g Stonehenge, Avebury, White Horses,National Trust Properties, Castle Combe, Lacock and Biddestone ( all used in filming)
The bus service from Corsham is frequent to Bath and Chippenham.
There is a High Speed Rail Line from Bristol - Bath- Chippenham - London.
There is a National Express route from here to London/Heathrow Airport.
Bristol Airport is an hour by car.
We also have a local taxi company that give our guests preferential rates.
Other things to note
I can cater for specific dietary requirements, with advance notice.
Also happy to make packed-lunches for guests and lend an iron and ironing board.
There is no smoking in any of the the bedrooms.
We do not allow pets, but have cats and a dog ourselves.
We expect guests to respect others and therefore not make too much noise at night.
Please note that we only accept 2 night minimum bookings at weekends in the summer and 3 nights over Bank Holidays - please check with us before you book.

Steve and I live in the farmhouse and together with our eldest son run a mixed farm in this delightful part of Wiltshire.
We have 4 grown-up children, all doing different things in various parts of the country.
We have pets and 2 horses on site at the moment.
In addition to the B&B we also have self-catering cottages and a wooden lodge for rent.
We have been doing B&B here for 25 years and have accommodated guests from all corners of the world.
We often use Airbnb ourselves when travelling about and find it a good scheme.
I like walking, cycling , riding and gardening and also reading when time permits.
I am always pleased to welcome guests to our home and to share with them, this lovely location.
