Amazing location for a great value. 10 minutes max from the main restaurants and bars. The owners are super friendly and approachable. They also provide a driving service for an affordable cost. Pool and beach are right on the property. Would recommend this for family or friends getaway!

Instead of clear cutting and building a giant box, Turtle Beach is built using the hill and trees. All the cabins seem very private. I'm not even sure how many there are. Paul upgraded us. We ended up staying in 3 rooms, Crabby Cabin, Seascape and Boathouse. We love the view, the patio and the breeze in Seascape. Your are up high with a view of the ocean. The master bedroom in Boathouse has French doors that open into a screened porch for full frog listening at night. The patio is in the middle of the compound, not much breeze and a bit buggy, but has seating for 15 and grill and stove for a big group to congregate. Crabby is small and further from the water. A highlight for me was the kayaks and stand up paddle boards always available to guests. My husband likes to chill and I can't sit still for long, so it was easy to just start paddling. We also used the 2 person kayak to go snorkel at the reef.

Paul is an amazing man and I would definitely suggest this place to stay at if you are headed to the West Bay or West End area. It is literally smack dab between the two and you can walk along the beach for fifteen minutes in either direction to reach either West Bay or West End. Or if you want to travel by water you can hail down a water taxi for three dollars or kayak with one of the many ones provided by Paul. Staying at Turtle Beach was like living in a treehouse.. in a jungle... in paradise... with a bunch of your closest friends. You automatically felt at home when you got there. Paul showed us our accommodation, walked around and introduced us to the other guests, gave us a tour of the property and where the snorkel gear and kayaks were. Paul and the other guests were all so cool - down to earth, all had amazing stories and we all became good friends. The couple who was staying above us, Dave and Anne, were from Canada and Dave fancied himself a chef. So every night we gathered around the massive grill outside of our place to watch him prepare sea bass, conch, chicken, sausage, shrimp, cabbage..... oh man it was amazing. We had family style dinners every night -someone would bring a salad, someone would bring the fish etc. If you needed anything Paul just said to ask at any time and when he made his town runs he would grab it from the store- wether it be fish, beer, whatever. He was so hospitable. There was someone there at all times. You are never left to just fend for yourself. If you need toilet paper - its restocked in two minutes, a new thing of clean water - in your room in two minutes. Every day we would grab the snorkel gear and walk down to West Bay - all the way to the end where the beach runs into a rock cliff - and go straight out and snorkel. The reef is literally right there. It was beautiful. We saw so much stuff! You can literally burn hours of your day just swimming around staring at all the beautiful fish and coral life. I love fruit - and there is a truck in West bay (or West end) to buy bananas, pineapple, oranges, papaya, etc. The fresh produce was so good and you could get a huge bag of it for about five bucks. We hadn't had a coconut yet and one afternoon we walked up to our room to a coconut cut open and ready to drink. Paul had bought one for us! He is just so nice! Denisse the Scuba instructor=UNBELIEVABLE. We are beginners, she refreshed our skills and took us out ONE on ONE! We felt so comfortable/safe. You leave right from the dock right in front of turtle beach too! Bonus:It was the same price as crowded West End...
