The cabin is located by the lake on beautiful Tjeldøya in Tjeldsund (Ofoten). Suitable for active families or couples who like to go on mountain hikes. We have used the cabin as our base for this, and therefore do not have a boat available. Also perfect for those of you just wanting to retreat and seek peace and quiet. The only thing you hear here is the sound of the boats or cruise ships in the strait, something we love to observe when we sit on the terrace. Also suitable for workers with short assignments in the area.

The space
This place comes with a soul guarantee! You immediately feel your shoulders drop upon arrival. Here you don't HAVE to do anything. Just enjoy. However, day trips to Lofoten are entirely possible. 2 1/2 hours to Svolvær. Other nearby cities are Harstad - 1 hour, and Narvik - 1 hour and 15 min. Approx. 30 min drive from Harstad/Narvik (EVE) airport.
Enjoy bright summer evenings with sun until after 10 pm in the middle of summer (On the other side of the strait is the mountain Sætertiden, and it takes the midnight sun from us)

My family and I have lived many years abroad, and then used the cabin as our home in the summers in Norway. Now that we have moved back to Norway, but live south, we see that we do not get to use the cabin as often as we would like. Therefore, we would like to give others the opportunity to experience that the expression "inner calm" and "peace of mind" really comes into its own.
