About 25 years ago my wife and son were mountain biking renegade off the beaten path when they stumbled onto an overgrown high mountain pasture. Jen came home and grabbed me, “I’ve just found the most beautiful spot I’ve ever seen.” It had been at least decade since cattle had grazed but you could still see all the way to Tennessee.
It took 10 years of persuading to convince the owner to sell. But eventually we bought this magical 40 acre piece.
Now we want to share it with you. Come sleep on the backbone of the Eastern Continental Divide.
We feel it’s our mission to offer up a place where people can escape the digital post modern frenzy and let the rhythm of the natural order cradle your spirit.
It is deeply calming to the soul to witness a sunrise shimmering across a river of clouds snaking through the distant valley.
Solitude so thick it is melancholy with the lonely wind moaning and whistling in the night while you safely curl up in front of the warm flickering fire.
We are dreamers hearkening back to something our ancestors all knew from experience. A personal connection to the mystery and terrible majesty of the primal power that resides in the elemental world.
Come share it with us! Come heal!
