The Rim Ranch is located on the rim of Palo Duro Canyon located conveniently 13 miles southeast of Amarillo, Texas. (Our address says Claude, but only because of the postal delivery!) Wild West History is everywhere including a Comanche Camp ground. We offer serenity for adults and there is a petting zoo including kittens, chickens, turkeys, Guinea Hens, rabbits and donkeys for the kiddos.

The space
porch and screened in porch. Our neighbor is the famous "Cowgirls and Cowboys of the West" horseback riding outfit. "The Point" is a place of observation on Rim Ranch looking south down the PaloDuro revealing a breathtaking view of Mexican Skirts (a natural phenomenon created by erosion to resemble colorful Mexican skirts). What are you waiting for? Please join us to marvel at the magnificent sunsets and night skies exploding with stars.

Hi, I'm Mary, and my family calls me Ginger. I am the daughter of the original owners of the ranch. My parents acquired the ranch in 1948 and 1949. I love that our ranch is part of the Palo Duro Canyon, and we love showing our views to people who come from all over the world to see our nation's second largest canyon and hear about the dramatic western history that occurred here.
