We welcome you to this peaceful and private spacious studio in a laid-back quintessential coastal neighborhood in beautiful Santa Barbara. Everything you could possibly need is within a 10-minute walk. Steps to Mesa Lane Beach and the Douglas Family Preserve. Downtown Santa Barbara is a short 5-10 minute drive. Stroll to Hendry's Beach and the Boat House for happy hour on the sand or enjoy a night in, relaxing in your private garden courtyard with a glass of wine.

This suite is ideally suited for romantic excursions, solo travelers, and extended stays.

Your private suite includes an enchanting courtyard that is for your exclusive enjoyment and doubles as your entryway. Through the entrance you will find the kitchenette that is stocked with the essentials including a full-size refrigerator for comfortable extended stays. The door that divides the house with the kitchenette is securely locked and separates the main house kitchen and the kitchenette. The door to your exclusive and private bedroom and bath is accessed through the kitchenette. The entrance and your bedroom area is lockable with a key. The bedroom features a lovely sliding patio door that offers a nice view.

The guest suite kitchenette has an access door to the main house kitchen that is locked and not used while guests are occupying the suite. You may hear occasional noise in the kitchen on the other side of the door when you are in the kitchenette.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with fluffy pillows, large walk-in closet, desk and chair with large work area, dresser and large flat screen tv equipped with a firestick to enjoy Hulu, Netflix, HBO and much more! The room features vaulted ceilings and a ceiling fan. We also provide a fast and reliable internet WiFi for your use.

Bathroom has a shower with a large shelved closet for storage. Kitchenette has a large butcher block counter with microwave, coffee maker, hot plate and toaster oven. There is a ton of storage and it comes stocked with everything you might need for your stay.

West Mesa is a well-established coastal neighborhood rich in history and character. Close enough to downtown but allowing you to have everything you need to enjoy Santa Barbara as the locals do. There are no hotels in this neighborhood so it is truly an exclusive local experience within the Santa Barbara community. Within a 10-minute walk you will find Cat Cora’s ‘Mesa Burger’, Lighthouse Coffee, Mesa Café, Mesa Verde (wonderful raw vegan food), Lazy Acres healthy organic locally-run grocery store with an amazing hot and cold deli, Ichiban Japanese food and sushi, Thai, Pizza, Vons, Rite-Aid, CVS and much more.

Located between the mountains and the sea, the neighborhood offers magnificent views of both the ocean and the Santa Ynez mountain range. The stairs that lead down to a secluded gorgeous beach is approximately a 5 minute walk. My mapquest lists as a 4 min walk or 1 min bike ride. The Douglas Family Preserve, is ideal for nature walks and relaxing and is also a short 3-minute walk. It offers stunning sunsets and ocean views of the Channel Islands.

Located close-by within a 35-minute drive is the beautiful wine-growing region of Santa Ynez. Due to its proximity to Santa Barbara, wine tasting is a popular attraction for both locals and visitors. There are many wine touring services for you to choose, or simply discover the many wineries to be found on your own. Wine lovers are sure to enjoy this region of California!
