Photo is not totally accurate; the sofa in the photo has been replaced with a smaller pullout misrepresenting the entire layout. HD tv gets old westerns and many shows from the 50's and 60's and little else; local channels are hit or miss. All doors are ill fitting and thus difficult to close. If you have a small child be aware that at the top of the entrance staircase is an uncovered hole that a child could climb through and fall off the first floor roof. Paint is used extensively to cover imperfections. Although a range-oven is installed use caution, no exhaust fan and angled ceiling is dangerously close to the range top, DON'T leave it unattended. WIFI is strong and it did have hot water. We would not rent it again.

Response from Meagan:
We would have loved the opportunity to make Jacks stay more pleasant but unfortunately he did not reach out before this review was written even though we let him know to please contact us if we could do anything to make his stay more comfortable. Our couch has been upgraded to a more comfortable sleeper sofa at request of past guests reviews and conversations. Our home is historic so def does not read as a new construction does. And is not perfect. We do have strong WIFI and offer Hulu, amazon prime and Netflix to our guests but do not offer traditional cable. We tried to keep the renovations to a minimum so we could offer guests an affordable place to stay in a trendy area of town. Please read the numerous positive reviews we have if you are considering staying at our apt. We would love to host your group!

We loved this apartment! It was cozy and comfortable, and we had a restful week. This apartment is also in a wonderful location, especially for visitors that have (or have rented) a car. It was a simple, short drive to many wonderful spots in East Nashville. If we come back to Nashville we'd like to stay here again!

Clean, fairly quiet, and charming. Within walking distance of local hangouts. Space is as advertised.

The upstairs apartment was really cute, and perfectly sized for me and another friend. The neighborhood is quiet and seemed more residential but also it was an easy drive (or lyft) to the bars and restaurants in both East Nashville and Downtown.

The apartment is a little smaller than expected and not laid out quite like the pictures. There was no sectional so not much for seating. But overall it was good!
