Our spacious six-person house is full of comforts and is a good base to explore the beautiful mudflat island of Ameland. There are 3 bedrooms, one of them with a bunk bed. The living room is spacious with a separate sitting area with TV and a dining area with a large dining table. The open kitchen has an oven, gas stove, fridge and more than enough dishes. There are also 2 bathrooms, each with a shower, sink and toilet. All this on 1,000 m2 of private property.

The space
The house has a spacious and modern kitchen and has all the comforts. The open arrangement allows you to have a pleasant time with your travel companions when they are sitting at the large dining table. The living room has a separate sitting area with a cozy arrangement of sofas and a nice lounge chair.
There are 3 bedrooms; 2 rooms with double beds and 1 room with a full bunk bed (also suitable for adults).
There are also 2 bathrooms with toilet.

The glass facade and doors to the garden give the feeling of being close to nature. Regularly, the deer lie in the garden to rest and the rabbits hop around.

The large garden (1,000m2) is enclosed with natural afforestation to ensure your privacy as well as possible. (Please note! Small children and pets can get off the premises!).
The terraces, facing south, offer ample space to sit. For the little ones, there is a playground in the garden. Playing soccer and other outdoor activities can be enjoyed on the lawn in the garden.

Guest access
The door of the house is open upon arrival (front), the key is on the table so that you can immediately start a wonderful stay.
When you leave, the key stays on the table and you can leave undisturbed.

Other things to note
You must bring/arrange your own linen & towels! This may be rented through one of the specialized companies on the island. We get good feedback from guests about the Linenkast (we have no commitment with this company), they also offer a free pick-up/drop-off service.

I/we love to travel and after a few tries on Airbnb we have definitely abandoned hotels where possible. We really appreciate the charm of stay in a local, warm and cosy residence over a 4/5 star hotelroom. We have great experiences allover the globe from Europe to Asia. Once at our destination we love to find out how the local life works in shopping, restaurants hangouts etc. Next to holiday travels we both travel quite a bit for business. Also in this setting we prefer to stay at nice and different places rather than hotel rooms.
