The space
The house in the protected town of Tranekær is worthy of preservation. It has been newly renovated with an environmentally friendly heat source, air to water system, new roof, new windows, etc. SMEG kitchen appliances. I have had a smallholding on Langeland for 18 years, and I am originally from Christiansfeld in South Jutland. We needed a place to meet with the family - halfway between Copenhagen and South Jutland - and so it became the beautiful South Funen archipelago. Broforbundet so the family did not have bridge or ferry expenses. We ourselves enjoy all our holidays on the island and as many long weekends as possible. We even celebrate Christmas on Langeland. Today I have 5 land registries on the island, of which 2 are used by us and the 3 are for rent. I have never understood the idea that someone would want to live in rented accommodation with surroundings and interiors that are so ugly and copy-wanna-be. In the houses, you get design classics, proper beds, small, quirky collections and something decent to look at. You take care of the cosiness yourself.
