Beautiful house en surroundings. Very friendly and helpful family. Licata (the town nearby) is not very special. But if you're looking for a beautiful view and equiped house to enjoy with family and to cook yourself, this is the spot! Some information about the supermarkets and bakery nearby would be nice. Thanks!

The villa has a fantastic terrace, with an amazing view over the sea. Nice furniture on the terrace for family dinners and relaxing in the sun. There is a grill in the garden, so we enjoyed grilling all the local fantastic sea food. The family is extremely generous and helpful. We arrived very late and they picked us up to lead the way to the villa and to serve the dinner they prepared for us in the middle of night. We also got a good bye surprise the last day, the new years day. The communication functions perfect, always very quick and helpful answers. In the room without a sea view one could hear the watch dogs in the neighbourhood barking in the night. We spent Christmas and New Year there, with chilly nights and lovely sunny days. We also bought the olive oil the family produces, so lovely to enjoy all the local food everywhere in Sicily. The house is a relatively short drive to Agrigento, do not miss the Valle dei Templi!

We had a great week in the house, the view was as you can see at the pictures. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the furniture is very comfortable. Angelo and his family are very nice and the communication with him was easy. Thank you for the escort to the house, we wouldn't have found it right away. :) Only the beach near the house isn't that nice but there are many nice beaches around Licata. We would definitely come back to that little holiday paradise.

An unqualified 5 stars. Angelo and his family gave my family and I the gift of a lifetime. We had come to Licata to see the town Mum's dad, our grandfather, spent the first 8 years of his life before migrating to Australia. Mum had a picture of her dads house that was taken decades ago, and written on the back, "quartierre". I did not think there was any chance of finding this house, but Angelo thought he knew where it was. The day after being greeted by Angelo and his delightful family, we met them again, this time joined by his daughter who translated, to see if we could find the house. And as we walked up to where he thought it was, there it was. It was a moment we'll never forget. Not only that, Angelo's daughter and sister were visiting from out of town, and yet they took the time out of their Sunday to find the house, then show us around their town. Truly beautiful, kind, warm and generous people. As for the house, pictures don't do justice to the incredible vista that awaits. The house is a short 10min drive out of town, perched on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean. The views from the bedrooms and the front porch are just stunning. In sum: the spectacular views were only outdone by the beauty of the host and his family. We will definitely be back one day.

Our host family was most welcoming and gave us biscuits on arrival. The highlights were the endless sea views, peaceful sheltered location and the fabulous three course Sicilian meal we purchased from our host and which lasted for several nights. The house was homely, comfortable and we were allowed to use all the condiments including ground coffee. Eating meals on the verandah overlooking the sea was very pleasant. The host family was delightful and the two daughters spoke excellent English. Off street parking was reassuring as were the electric gates. Thanks De Marco family. We would definitely stay again.
