A beautiful view of the colors thrown up by the setting sun is just the topping on this beautiful 4 bedroom home set in the hills. Modern fireplace, indoor and outdoor dining, a 6 person hot-tub, a gorgeous open-plan kitchen and lounge areas make for a very relaxing space. With a large wrap around porch, guests enjoy the California outdoors as much as the beautiful indoors.

The space
The home is a 4 bedroom hillside home with a beautiful view that includes a golf course, and city lights. An indoor modern fireplace makes for a cozy living room. There are two full size dining tables, one indoors and one outside on the "magical porch" which also includes the hot tub, and various lounge areas.

All rooms have very comfortable queen beds (a Sleep Number bed in the master, and green room, a very comfortable spring bed in the red guest room and a fabulous latex bed in the yellow guest room) plus various views of greenery and city lights.

Note: all bedrooms are upstairs.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the whole house and outdoor space (including kitchen, living room, hot tub and outdoor lounge areas).

Other things to note
There is free parking on the road around the house.

NO parties allowed. I do NOT allow parties in this space. If you want to have a small gathering, please let me know when booking. If you have a party without permission, you will forfeit your entire deposit and be charged extra for any damages or issues that arise.

NO film/video/photo shoots allowed in the house.

No pets allowed.

Quiet Hours: This is a quiet neighborhood and sound travels in the hills. Please be respectful of our neighbors. All outdoor and hottub use must end by 10 p.m. No outdoor/hot tub use allowed after 10 p.m.

No Smoking Indoors: Please note that I do not allow smoking in the house. If you smoke, please do so at the far end of the deck. If you smoke in the house, I will withhold part of your deposit.

Short Stays: I prefer 3+ day rentals. Although I will accept a 2 night minimum, I charge a higher fee (about $200-300 + taxes extra) for such short stays. IF booking for two nights, please reach out via the Contact Host Button under the listing. Don't send a reservation request directly.

Additional Guests: The base price of the home is for 6 guests. There is a $30 per person per day charge for guests above that number.

Neighbourhood highlights

The home is in a quiet neighborhood. There is a hiking trail that begins at the top of the road and takes you into the hills. Makes for wonderful hiking in nature. The views are beautiful and the sunsets even more so.

If you cut across the hills, you can take Topanga Blvd. across Topanga Canyon to the ocean. So the beach is just a beautiful 25 minute drive away. There are even more hiking trails in Topanga State Park which is on the way to the beach.

If you go 5-6 mins from the house down the hill, you get to Ventura Blvd, which has a plethora of grocery stores (TJs, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Ralphs) as well as a rich variety of restaurants to explore.
