This is hidden quiet place surrounded by big trees and located next to big shrine. Simple room in old classic apartment.
This area was miraculously safe during world war 2, so many classic buildings still exist and good atmosphere.

Chizu is a kind, and interesting person and I feel so grateful to have spent time with her. She made me feel like a roommate during my time there. Staying at her place during my trip was my favorite part of Tokyo. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful but also very close to many bustling areas of the city. I would love to stay here again.

Chizu was very friendly and welcoming. It's close to the station. Shared living space which is as described.

Chizu is a nice person who had good correspondence with us. We found that from the airport at 9pm a very tiring journey to get there. (2.5 hrs) It is spartan and very tiny , you sleep on the floor on mats and in her tiny living area, no table or chairs. For 2 people this was awkward as its 3 flights of narrow stairs and you can not make any noise at all. It cost us over $115 a night , we found a comfy Hotel for $89 , so overall did not suit us all that well. The cleaning and other fees are a scam.

Chizu's place is in a great location. Less than a minute walk to a metro stop. About 10 minutes away from Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Harajuku by train. Ikebukuro is only one stop away! Chizu is also super friendly and has a lot of interesting stories from her travels. Make sure you talk to her! Her house is minimalist, with only the basic necessities. It is a great way to experience how local Japanese live! Next time I come to Tokyo I am definitely staying with her!

Thank you for visiting my profile :)

I am Japanese who was born and grew up in Shizuoka which has Mt. Fuji and it is the area richly endowed with nature.

By the way, do you remember the earthquake which happened in 2011 in Tohoku, Japan ?

It was serious incident I've ever lived, I found life is too short, it changed my life,,, to better change. After that, I quit working for the company and travelled to many countries (31 countries and over 300 cities) and met many travellers and local people and then I found I am happy.
So this experience leads to being a host on Airbnb because I want to meet with as many people as possible as long as I live in this world and share something nice and new, ( even not nice things.. ) with someone else every day.

I am designer ( jewelry and graphic. )
I was looking for my original way to contribute to society during my long trip, joining NGO project in Cambodia and work as assistant with my teacher who has the jewelry job-training school to support local people to be financially independent. Now finally I am starting my own ethical project in the jewelry field.

Hope you like & enjoy Tokyo life and relax at my place and have a good memory. I am usually very busy, but I'll support as much as I can.

Pls feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I am open to anything, think flexibly :)
