Central Bruxelles location, comfortable, self-serviced well-furnished apartment (63 m2) located on the 1st floor, in the heart of Brussels’ European District.
The space
Our apartment has a bright living room with balcony. The open-plan kitchenette is well-equipped for home cooking. Guests can also use our laundry room (basement area). The sleeping area has a double bed with an ensuite open plan bathroom, which has a hand basin, bath with a shower for your use.
The whole apartment has a nice walk-through architecture, with no doors between the different rooms (except for the toilet).
The building is just a short walk from the European Commission, restaurants & bars, food markets, the area’s elegant green parks and close to all public transport.
Comfortable, fully furnished apartment located on the first floor of a modern building. It is serviced by an elevator. When you exit the lift turn right, walk to the spiral staircase, which you must walk up to get to the apartment.
**There are six (6) steps to walk up. Please bear this in mind if you have a disability, reduced mobility, wheelchairs, prams, babies, young children are elderly or lots of luggage as walkway may not be suitable.**

The apartment is located inside a building which comprises 16 apartments set on 4 floors. The distinctive and charming building is a single structure overlooking two streets, Rue des Patriotes and Rue Bordiau.
The one-bedroom apartment opens onto a very bright living room with large windows and a balcony overlooking Rue des Patriotes and Rue Bordiau. It is furnished with a round glass dining table for 4, widescreen TV, internet access and wifi.
The 2-seater sofa can convert into a sofa bed. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with electric hobs, extractor hood, microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher & refrigerator with freezer. Guests can use our laundry room, which is equipped with washing machine & dryer. These facilities in the basement are free to use whenever you need them. They are available on a first come, first serve basis.
The sleeping area, separated from the living room & kitchen, consists of a bedroom overlooking Rue Bordiau. It is furnished with a Queen-size bed, wardrobe & chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with tub & shower unit. We have a separate toilet, which is situated beside the living room. When going to the toilet you do not need to pass through the sleeping area.
The building is located in the heart of the European district, in an area that is exclusively residential. It is:
• 1-minute walk from the neighborhood’s green area, featuring Square Marguerite, with its outdoor basketball court; Square Ambiorix, elegant and very popular among joggers during lunchtime or in the evening, and, finally, Square Marie-Louise, with its beautiful pond,
• 2-minute walk from the Place des Chasseurs, with its charming farmers’ market, which takes place every Friday, and bars and restaurants serving as gathering places for cocktails and dinner for young people in Brussels;
• 3-minute walk from Rue Franklin and Rue Archimede, where restaurants, bars and cafes abound;
• 10-minute walk from Place Schuman, where the main buildings of the European Commission and the Council of Europe are located;
• 15-minute walk from Place de Luxembourg, where the European Parliament is situated.
Worthy of note is a mini market 10 meters from the building (opened every day except Saturday) which sells food, fruit and vegetables, tobacco and alcohol. The nearest supermarket is located at Place des Chasseurs and a very short walk from the building there is also a pharmacy opened every day except Sundays.
The residence is located 100 meters from bus stop 63, perfect for reaching both the Bruxelles Central Train station and Brussels’ historic centre, while from Place Schuman (about 800 meters) busses depart to the city’s National Airport (Zaventem). The Place Schuman metro station connects this area to the city centre.

When reserving this apartment for two (2) people your booking fees includes the 1 double bed in your bedroom for 2 people.
If you require two (2) separate beds for the 2 people staying in the apartment (bedroom double bed + sofa bed) ) there will be an additional fee of €35.00 to pay.
If you are three (3) people we provide 2 beds, which includes the bedroom double bed and the living room sofa bed. These are included in the price.

We provide shared bottles of body wash, hand wash, and shampoo to make your stay feel relaxed and home‑from‑home. If anything runs out during your stay, just let us know.
We understand that some guests prefer to use their own products for brand or hygiene reasons, so if that’s your preference, please remember to pack your toiletries
Essential Arrival Supplies:
We also provide ‘Essential Arrival Supplies’ such as toilet (2 rolls), kitchen towel papers & bin bags. Do remember our apartment is not all inclusive. Guest access
The apartment situated in a residential area is located in Central Bruxelles minutes from the EU. It is on the 1st (first) floor.
Access into our building complex is through a street front door. This front door has a digilock code system fitted for your security. When you pass through this door in to our hallway the Key Safe Area in directly on your right. You collect your apartment key from the key safe.
The hallway leads you directly to the lift. We have lights in the hallways so for those arriving after dark access is straightforward. From here take the lift to floor 1.
When you leave the lift, turn right, then there is a spiral staircase. There are six steps up to the apartment front door. Please bear this in mind if you have a disability, babies or lots of luggage. These steps may make it difficult.
From here you pass through a private front door, which leads you directly into the apartment. Once inside access to all rooms is on same level. It is very easy to move around when you are inside the apartment.
We send our ‘Check In Information’ to you a minimum of 3 days before you arrival. Do remember to check ‘Our Welcome Pack Message & ‘How to
Enter the Building video’ before you set off. These have created to assist with your check in. Remember as Training Professionals say ‘those who fail to prepare, prepare to fail’.
Other things to note
We provide one (1) apartment front‑door key for your use during your stay. You have unlimited and exclusive use of the Key Safe throughout your stay.
If members of your group need to access the apartment at different times, we recommend placing the key in the Key Safe to make this easy.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide more than one key.
When you are inside the apartment, please do not leave the key inserted in the inside of the front‑door lock (barrel). Guests sometimes step outside, close the door, intentionally or unintentionally, and lock themselves out. In such cases, a locksmith must be called. If this happens, you will be responsible for covering all locksmith costs
Our Radiator Heating System:
Our apartment uses a conventional (regular/heat‑only) hot‑water radiator system. A boiler heats water, which is then pumped through steel panel convector radiators. These radiators warm the air through convection, and the room temperature increases when you turn the radiator on.
The outside temperature influences how quickly the rooms heat up.
We turn the heating off when the apartment is unoccupied to avoid unnecessary energy waste, as homes continuously lose heat through walls, windows, and roofs. So the radiators will be turned off when you arrive.
The central heating system is very efficient and typically warms the apartment within 15–30 minutes.
Who the Apartment Suits:
The apartment is available for short, medium or long-term letting and ideally suits business people, visitors, small groups or families with young babies or children on holiday. You can book for short, medium and long term rental periods. We really don’t mind.
This apartment is not available for parties or gathering during your stay, please do not book it if this is your requirement. If you do have a requirement for a family gathering do please discuss.
Smoking: it is prohibited to smoke inside the apartment or in the building. There is a fixed penalty of 200 euro for smoking in the building.

The building is located in the heart of the European district, in an area that is exclusively residential. The European Commission, The European Union and Council of Europe are within 10 minutes’ walk. It’s ideal for people on secondment in the EU District.
The Place des Palais, the Palais de Justice, Bruxelles’s luxurious Sablon, Bois de la Cambre and the Bourse de Bruxelles are within 15 minutes travel time (tram & metro) of the apartment.
There are lots of shops, restaurants and café around the apartment for you to marvel in. The best grocery stores nearby are Delhaize & Colruyt, (5 minute walk) from the apartment front door.
Schuman metro & train station, are less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Your local bus stop, Margareta (bus 63) is one minute’s walk from your front door. These will take to Central Bruxelles leaving you 5 minutes walk from the Gran Place.
