This 1940's farmhouse has been updated in all the right ways to give guests a comfortable retreat. Spectacular views, plenty of outdoor space for family time and games, cozy porches and plenty of indoor seating and sleeping spaces to meet anyone's desires for a home away from home. It's in the perfect location to access any of the draws WNC offers, like fishing, hiking, mining and rafting, as well as local shopping and dining. Owners are local and available to quickly meet needs of guests.

Upgraded both bathrooms, bringing guests a brand new shower and tub.
Fully stocked kitchen, all linens, towels provided along with extras owners add to help make your visit the vacation you need. Master bedroom has queen bed, second bedroom also has queen bed, both brand new mattresses. There is also a sleeping loft with a double mattress and relaxing view. Just off the main living room is a small lounge area, with additional TV, small futon, and view/exit to back porch.
There is ample parking; two covered spots as well as room for larger vehicles. Gas grill on back porch and a front porch perfect for watching the sunset. We store cornhole boards and other outdoor games for guests to use during their stay; with a spacious, flat side yard perfect for playing games and hilltop fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows or just taking in the view.

We boast of some of the best hiking trails and fishing spots in western NC as well as breathtaking waterfalls. Minutes away from multiple access points to the famous Appalachian Trail, and a favorite spot for many hikers to stop and refuel in their journey. The town of Franklin itself, offers unique shopping, dining, and breweries along with parks and The Fun Factory, a favorite for children. We are just minutes from local businesses that offer tubing and canoeing in the Little Tennessee River and trout fishing perfect for young families. There are multiple options for gem mining nearby, as this is the Gem Capital of the World.
If you want something larger scale, the NOC is 30 minutes away, home of world class rapids, ziplining, hiking, biking, climbing, etc. Taking a short, scenic drive will lead you to The Great Smoky Mountain railroad for family fun, or even Harrah's Cherokee Casino.
