Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
This unique historic gatehouse was built around 1900. It sits in the incredible surroundings of the Manor House, Hinton St Mary.
Never before has the family allowed visitors to stay in these historical surroundings. Steeped in history and English beauty, the newly finished refurbishment has been to the highest standard. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Wood burner for cosy fireside relaxation.

The space
This is a totally unique house newly done up to a very high spec.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom can either be a king size or two singles.
Please note the bathroom is downstairs. It consists of a large modern walk-in shower and underfloor heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast bar made from a cedar tree that fell on the estate.
There is a separate dining area.
The living room has a wood burner, large tv and is well furnished. There is super fast broadband.
You have a wonderful huge traditional walled garden, safe for children with a magical tower where you can eat. This space is shared with the Stables. The Manor House gardens are private and cannot be accessed without a guide.

Guest access
The whole house is accessible on the flat (no external steps). The gate is shared with The Stables next door, which is also available for rental on Airbnb.

There is a beautiful walled garden with the property, directions will be provided in the property brochure.

The village is beautiful and quiet.

The village pub The White Horse is a two minute stroll away, with an excellent food menu. Worth booking in advance.

Just a 5 minute drive to other great local pubs. Local Recommendations -

Sturminster Newton - The Bank House brasserie and The White Hart pub

These two are 5 mins away in town. The Brasserie is really lovely, the pub is very much a pub but does really good food.

The Fiddleford Inn is really lovely especially if you want to walk or cycle. You can join the Trailway in Sturminster Newton and walk/cycle to the Fiddleford, it is not far, half an hour walk from the end of the trailway and it is super friendly.

There is access to fantastic walks along the river stour and cycling along the north Dorset trailway which runs for 18 miles from Sturminster Newton to Blandford.

Olympic horse rider William Fox-Pitt has his stables in the village so horses are often seen being exercised around the village.
