The space

Welcome to this lovely, well-maintained apartment situated on the 5th floor (with elevator) of a charming, very Parisian building on Rue Montorgueil. One of Paris' oldest, this enchanting pedestrian street was immortalized in Claude Monet's eponymous painting (see above), and today boasts some of Paris' most famous establishments. Dine on the sidewalk terrace and people-watch at L'Escargot, the original home of the delectable snail dish, and follow it up with an éclair at Stohrer, Paris' oldest pastry shop (and a favorite destination of Queen Elizabeth today).

The apartment features a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and oven, a bathroom with a washer-dryer, a living room/den with a flatscreen television and sofa bed, and a bedroom with a comfy double bed.

Right in the heart of Paris, the apartment is close by to the Louvre and to the Marais. It's also nestled between 2 metro stops in short walking distance, one of which can take you to CDG or Orly airports.
Charm, centrality, convenience, and comfort all in one.

Unlimited high-speed wifi. Linens and towels provided. Check-in at 3pm, check-out at 11am. Link to verified reviews from a previous listing upon request.

We had a great time at Paul's place. Amazing neighborhood. Lots of restaurants/cafes/patisseries/boulangeries on the street. Easy access to multiple metro stops. Easy walk to the Lourve, the Pompidou, and much more. Check-in/check-out were super easy. Wifi was great. Washer/dryer worked great. Great value. We had an amazing trip and I'll stay here next time I'm in Paris.

Great location! Paul was such a great host. He responded to all questions and concerns as soon as they arose. The apartment was clean and as pictured. It is convenient to public transit and there are so many good restaurants just out the front door. The lift was a nice feature as well.

Paul's place is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and furnished, and located in perfect proximity to mostly anywhere a tourist would want to go. The restaurants and cafes on the street were great, and it was only a short walk to the mall and metro station. Both him and his bnbsitter were welcoming and helpful hosts, and always responded exceptionally quickly and detailedly.

Three of us stayed at Paul's bnb for a week. Louis from bnbsitter helped us to check in on the first day. The bnb looked exactly as same as the pictures Paul uploaded. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is also good- there are lots of restaurants. Paul responded to the messages I sent quickly and kindly. He is a great host:) I really enjoyed my stay at Paris.

Paul's apartment is wonderful and I think this is why people use Airbnb. The location, convenience, comfort, and easy access to many venues, staying here means you can really enjoy a lot. No matter you have a plan in mind or not, this area has a lot to offer and Paul's place only makes that experience even better. I didn't meet Paul in person but the communication went very well. Paul is responsive and trustworthy. Staying here means you have nothing to worry. I will definitely recommend it and check in again next time when I visit. Thank you, Paul!

This place is large, comfy, ideally located and highly recommended! Steps away from Chatelet - Les Halles and on a very lively street full of coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stands. While the street is busy and full of people, the apartment faces a courtyard away from the street and is very quiet. The checkin process went smoothly, I had everything I needed to start my stay and felt the building was very secure for me to leave my stuff behind. For a Parisian apartment this building was well equipped. Some coming from the states don't realize 100+ year old buildings are hard to maintain but here I had a frontloading washer/dryer combo, instant hot water, WiFi, and what looked like a brand new elevator. You can't go wrong with this place, if my work allowed it, I would have stayed at this place for a month to 6 weeks. It felt like real Paris

This was the perfect place for our family of four to stay in Paris! It is on the fabulous Rue Montorgueil, in the heart of the city. It is within easy walking distance to many sites (the Seine, the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Musée de la l'Orangerie, Notre Dame, and Tuileries Gardens, just to name a few), and has easy access to several Metro and train stops. It was very simple to take the train from CDG and walk from Les Halles to the apartment. The neighborhood has everything - cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, shopping, etc. - right out the front door. The building is safe, secure and quiet. The apartment windows open onto a courtyard. There is a lovely little two-person elevator to take you or your bags up to the fifth French floor (6th for us Americans!). It was nice to have that option after a long day of walking and sightseeing! The apartment is clean and bright, and even though it is small, it has all the basic necessities (including flat screen TV and wi-fi). There is even a washer/dryer if you need to do some laundry! The only thing I would mention as a potential drawback is that you have to step up quite high to get into the shower, so anyone with mobility issues may have a problem there. Paul was an amazing host, from the moment we first made contact until we arrived safely at home. He is incredibly responsive and helpful, and made every part of the process easy and enjoyable for us. I highly recommend this apartment, and we would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Paris!
