The Lodge is the only bed and breakfast accommodation on the Brading Marshes Nature Reserve. The Lodge is a quiet and peaceful place to stay with a beautiful garden to enjoy and wonderful views of the marshes. There is always plenty to see including regular visits from red squirrels. There are footpaths in all directions to enjoy. The Lodge has a double bedroom, shower and sitting room with a kitchenette. We leave a continental breakfast for you to enjoy.

The space
The Lodge has a sitting room with kitchenette (sink, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge). There is also a single bed in the sitting room for the occasional extra guest or child. The Lodge also has a king size double bedroom and a shower room. At the front of the Lodge is a covered veranda to enjoy the views.

The Lodge overlooks the RSPB Brading Nature Reserve where you can see plenty of wildlife and birds. The village is approximately a ten minute walk where there is a village shop, fish and chip shop, pub and restaurant.

I enjoy living on the Isle of Wight with my wife, Juliet, and our Golden Retriever. We own a pub called the Pilot Boat at Bembridge (new for 2021, a microbrewery, Wight Knuckle Brewery) as well as the Seaview Cafe on the high street in Seaview, where we sell tea, coffee, drinks, sandwiches and a fabulous range of ice creams, and together we also look after a number of holiday properties. I am a good communicator and enjoy meeting new people. I enjoy sailing, walking, socialising, skiing and tennis.

The Lodge on the Marsh is located in our large garden which you are welcome to use. It overlooks the Marsh and Culver Down. There are footpaths directly from the garden and plenty of wild life to see. We have a large drive for you to park in. We are around if needed but we leave you to enjoy the Lodge and garden. We leave a continental breakfast for you in the Lodge. If there is anything else you require or have any special dietary requirements please do ask.
