Nestled in the historical market town of Cockermouth, Greenbank Shepherd's Hut offers a break away from busy life. Set in a rural farm, our dog friendly hut is within walking distance of plenty of local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as being just a short drive to some of the Lake District's most beautiful landscapes.

The space
Our hut itself has a quaint kitchenette including a fridge, stove top kettle, toaster, hotplate, microwave and a hidden table and chairs. You’ll also find a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. We aim to use responsible suppliers where we can.

The hut has ultimate privacy with a private driveway, parking and garden in which there is space to relax, a firepit to keep you warm and a great view to soak in the countryside. The hut area itself is enclosed so your dogs can roam free as a bird (small puppies may be able to fit through the gate). We also have bicycle storage if needed.

Upon arrival, you can self check in after 2pm with a key in a lock box and you won’t be disturbed throughout your stay however should you need us we are only a phone call away.
