Unfortunately there must have been miscommunication as we do not expect the guests to wash the linens and make the beds at departure time. Perhaps the comment that we expect the place to "look at departure time as it did upon arrival" was misunderstood. Also, there are two sets of sheets provided per bed, so we are not sure if the second sets were just not discovered in the closet. Michael did talk to Kim after they moved in and would have addressed any issues if she had merely brought it to his attention. The sleep sofa was brand new and never slept on by us so we will be sure to provide a foam mattress to make it more comfortable in the future. The other mattress was tested by different people (after Kim's complaint) to see if there was an issue with it sinking in the middle and no-one found that to be true. It has since been slept on by three different parties since Kim's departure and no-one else has complained or found it to be uncomfortable so we are sorry Kim had a bad experience with it. We certainly would have done something about it if she had mentioned it during her stay with us. This unit was a first time rental and there had been work done to remodel it so we want to clarify to new renters that the cleanliness issue (dust from remodeling) will not be a problem in the future. We appreciate the constructive criticism Kim had to offer to help us improve our vacation home as we want to do well to provide excellent and comfortable accommodations to all of our future guests. Michael is always available for any questions or concerns to ensure a positive experience for our guests. We truly want them to feel that this is their "home away from home" while in our property, and bring to our attention any needs or concerns they have while staying with us.
