Shepherds hut on the Blackdown hills on the rural Somerset/Devon border over looking countryside in secluded spot, own Wood fired hot tub with views of farmland and animals. Wood burning stove in hut with fire pit outside. Private parking, bicycles available to borrow to explore the surrounding AONB. 1mile from village with pub and shop. Hut includes large shower, toilet and heated towel rail. Kitchen area has fridge, Belfast sink, and induction hob. Great for stargazing and relaxing.

The space
The shepherds hut is situated within its own small paddock. The wood fired hot tub is adjacent to the hut with the use of our bathrobes included. Secluded private parking off a country lane. The guests have sole use of the area and will be undisturbed. A fire pit out side and a log burning stove inside make for a relaxing romantic break from daily life.

Churchstanton is an agricultural parish with beautiful scenery and wildlife and access to many footpaths. The wild flowers in spring cover the hedgerows and make for a lovely walk to the nearest village of churchinford which has its own pub and community shop which are only 1 mile from the hut. Fantastic star gazing on clear nights due to no light pollution make for a romantic experience.

Hi I’m Bex and I live on a farm with my partner and son in the Blackdown hills on the Somerset/Devon border. We love the outdoors and spending time in the south west’s countryside. During your stay

I’m totally led by the guests, I work part time and have to do the school run so can’t guarantee I’ll be around all the time so we offer a self check in as an option.Saying that I’m more then happy to pop up and answer any questions in person or over the phone. It’s a romantic getaway property so we understand the need for privacy.
