Where you’ll be

Liss, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Oakshott is situated a mile to the South West of the village of Hawkley. It's 50 miles from London three miles off the A3 and 25 miles from Portsmouth.

The area is well known for its beauty and extensive network of public footpaths and bridleways. The cottage garden goes down to Oakshott Stream the other side of which is The Hangars Way, a noted walk, which links Alton, to the North, with the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, to the South. For the less ambitious hiker there are a number of charming pubs in easy walking distance.

I was brought up on a smallholding in East Hampshire and loved 'The Hangers' as a child. I returned to live in this beautiful part of the country, with my wife, when work commitments allowed and I rejoice daily at the decision to do so.
I so hope that our guests will find the same enjoyment.
