Tucked away at the base of our property under the firs, cedars and madrone - the tiny house cabin is a full windowed view into nature, with a wrap around deck to look out on Mud Bay with water access to relax and unwind.

Enjoy the tiny wood burning stove or take a hot propane-fired giant rainwater shower in the adjacent bathhouse. Only 5 minutes off the highway, and 10 minutes from the ferry, It's a refreshing retreat that doesn't feel at all like you're in the middle of a neighborhood.

The space
The cabin itself has a lofted full size bed, tiny wood stove, remote controlled heating/fan/lighting, coffee/tea station, potable large brita for water, and a foldable cooler for bringing in your favorite drinks or snacks. The cabin has electricity but we ask that you use it sparingly and not plug lots of things in as to not overload the breaker.

The adjacent bathhouse uses a nature's head composting toilet with peat moss for no smell, and utilizes a battery/propane/pump system with just one button for instant 16" rainwater collection hot showers from the 100 gallon tank. There is also a marine style foot pump sink basin with mirror as well.

Utilize the 30" firepit grate outside for campfire cooking or prep of your favorite meals with a cast iron skillet, dutch oven and bbq tools!

Guest access
The lower portion of our property and the water access are available to the cabin guests including the hammock area, water area, fire pit area, and lower "high tide" bar - please stay to the lower portion of the property as other guests might be staying in the guest house attached to the main house.

Other things to note
This is an "off grid" experience! The tiny house has power (but please use sparingly to not overload the breaker). This is a cabin in the woods. It has amenities and we clean it thoroughly, but sometimes little bugs or insects make their way through! There is no wifi, only a cooler to keep things cold, a firepit to make things hot and the bathhouse is detached with a foot pump sink and composting toilet. It's glorious, trust me!

Location

Bremerton, Washington, United States

Marine Drive is a quiet street on a peninsula of old navy bungalow houses. The location is only 5 minutes off the highway, and 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. There are plenty of local spots for takeout - our favorite being the Manette area, only 10 minutes away, which has lots of options. Being so close to the highway, this is the perfect gateway to explore the Kitsap or Olympic peninsula!

Hi! I am a freelance travel photographer and filmmaker living in Bremerton, Washington. I move around a lot for work and escape pretty often via Airbnb to avoid the hotel grind. Over the years I’ve taken notes on the places I’ve been fortunate enough to visit and capture. My passion has been to create and curate spaces that are eco-focused, whether it be totally off-grid, designed with sustainability and natural materials in mind, or immersion in the natural environment as the focus. I hope to host you or visit you soon. I look forward to meeting you!
