Exceptional check-in experience

Recent guests gave the check-in process a 5-star rating.
A unique and comfortable place to stay in a pleasant setting within its own private spot away from the owners house overlooking open fields. Ideal for a weekend break or longer stay should you wish to explore the Norfolk Broads and several beaches which are only a short distance away. During the winter months why not visit the seals at Horsey. Shepherds Delight looks out on to a westerly direction where you can experience the Norfolk big skies and most beautiful sunsets.

The space
Shepherds Delight is finished to a very high standard with the benefit of a king size bed which includes a sheeps wool mattress, log burning stove, secondary electric heating if required. Facilities also include microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer and bluetooth speakers. Ensuite showe room with copper sink and spacious shower. Towels, shower gel, soap and shampoo are all supplied for you during your stay.

Outside there is a private area for the use of guests and a wood/log burning hot tub. Also a BBQ available on request.

HOT TUB
Please note the hot tub is wood burning and NOT electric. Preparation time is dependent on the seasonal weather variations and takes between 2 and 3 hours to heat from cold. The hot tub is refilled with fresh water for your stay.

Due to the increase in costs of wood/logs used for the hot tub and log burner we have had to incur a charge of £20 per stay for all bookings made after 3rd January 2026.

If you do not like the idea of lighting the hot tub yourself, for your first night stay we can light it for your arrival and you will also have the use of robes for £30. The £20 for wood/logs is included in this price.

We can be flexible and work around your stay where possible. Please contact us.

BBQ available on request. Guests will need to supply own charcoal.

Guest access
You will have your very own Shepherds Hut complete with en-suite, kitchen area, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker (tea and coffee provided) King size bed, seating area and a wood burning stove for those cold evenings. Additionally there is electric heating installed, free wifi and a stand alone portable television can be provided on request free of charge.

The Shepherds Hut has it's own private garden with chairs and table to make the most of those summer evenings.
