The house is recently renovated, with luxury sustainable plank flooring, gas range & hood and extra-large stainless steel sink in kitchen, new beds, new bathroom fixtures, new rugs and updated furniture, plus a large deck with view-friendly railing. This wonderful update makes this home even more of a perfect retreat.
With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a new queen-sized sofa bed in the living room this house can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, plus 1 sofa bed that can accommodate additional guests, for a minimal charge. 2 bathrooms, one with shower/tub combo.
The fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast area, and cozy living room with wood-burning fireplace and board games are adjacent to the deck with lounge chairs and outdoor eating space. The hot tub is nestled in old-growth trees in the garden with views of the water. The house guests have exclusive access to the hot tub. It is not shared with cottage guests.
Beach access is shared between both houses. You are welcome to walk for miles along the beach! Just keep an eye on the tide. :-)

We take cleaning seriously, and the house is fully cleaned and disinfected after each stay.
A few times each year, we experience power outages, due to our remote location. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Power Outage Procedures in your House Information Book. There are plenty of light, blankets and a generator to keep you going.

Driveway, laundry, kayaks, and beach access are shared with a studio apartment on the property that is usually occupied. There is plenty of room and space for all the enjoy the peace and quiet!
Other things to note
Kayaks are available for a nominal fee with advance notice.
Massages are available to book upon request. These need to be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
Boat rides on the bay are available to book upon request at $100/hour, weather and schedule dependent. Please message host if you'd like to book a power boat tour.
Dogs are accepted, with a pet fee. We cannot host cats, due to allergies.
We love our special retreat and hope you will too! We expect all guests to treat the property, neighbors, and guests at nearby rentals with respect. When we receive your booking request, we'll send out a rental agreement. Here are the basics of what you can expect:
Check in is after 4pm on arrival day; check out is by 11am on departure day. No late checkouts unless otherwise arranged
Use of wifi, cable tv, utilities, sheets & towels, kitchen equipment, board games is included with your stay
Beach access is shared with others on the property
Kayak rentals are subject to a nominal fee for use during the entirety of your stay
