Welcome to our family farm. Our lodging consists of a newly remodeled private wing of our house. Our working farm is located on a quiet country road which has some of the best cycling roads in the area, hiking, fly fishing and gorgeous views. There are many activities happening in Bend and Sisters which makes our farm a great way to enjoy your space and unwind from the day activities. With all the festivals and events near by you probably won't have enough time to do them all.

The lodging is in a separate wing of our house that is 1300 square feet and is easily accessible via a private entrance. Guests have access to a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and a great room. The bedroom consists of a queen size bed and an beautiful Armoire for your clothes. Your accommodations face the Three Sister Mountains, Broken Top and Mt. Bachelor. Across from the bedroom is a bathroom with a elegantly tiled shower. Adjacent to the bedroom is a spacious great room with a Smart TV, pull-out queen size futon with a comfortable pillow top mattress pad, a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, refrigerator, George Foreman grill, toaster oven, skillet for cooking breakfast, coffee maker and tableware. We also have complimentary wifi for our guests. Our schedules are busy during the week, but we are happy to make ourselves available by phone throughout the day if you have questions or need recommendations for dining or activities. We give our guests all the privacy that they would like, but want them to feel free to walk the property and spend time with our animals if they are so inclined.
We love Tumalo which is a jewel in Central Oregon. There are many outdoor activities in the area including hiking, rafting, fishing, skiing, golfing, rock climbing, hunting, snowshoeing, and many more. In town, there are excellent microbreweries, restaurants, festivals, local artisans, and shopping. Our farm is only a three minute drive to Bendistillery, which produces the Crater Lake label that carries whiskey, gin, and vodka. The distillery offers tastings and tours. Our guests also have access to the Deschutes river which is world renowned for its kayaking, rafting, and fly fishing. Our location is only 40 minutes away from Mt. Bachelor ski area and 12 miles from the quaint western town of Sisters. We are also 15 minutes to downtown Bend. Although we are in a rural area outside of Bend you do need a car to get from the farm to downtown.
There is minimal public transportation since we are located in a rural area. Our farm is 20 minutes from the Redmond airport, which has a number of car rental services.

Freshfields Farm was just the perfect place for my daughter and me to come back to after our adventures hiking in a few of the many abundant hiking spots located in the Bend area. Donna and David have created a ten acre piece of heaven with beautiful views of the Cascade Mountains. Donna is an excellent baker, her banana bread is to die for as well as her Blackberry pie. We highly recommend Freshfields Farm , and hope to be back soon. Katie and Cindy

This is hands down the best AirBnB experience I have had yet. The Farm is super charming, fun, and peaceful. The rental space is clean, bright, has a super cute farmhouse chic aesthetic, and has everything you need for a Bend base camp, whether you are exploring the town proper (really quick easy 15 min drive) or driving further out of town for hiking or other outdoor adventures. Donna was very responsive in the booking and check in process, and she even provided fresh eggs and baked us scones--such nice extras that makes her an AirBnB host-extraordinaire! Book this place now!!!

Donna and David were amazing hosts that made us feel incredibly welcome at their little slice of heaven, Freshfields Farm! We highly recommend this as a retreat to come and enjoy the farm life. Wake up and have some farm fresh eggs and some of Donna's delicious pie from the farm stand.

Donna is the best host we've encountered in all of our airbnb stays. She's helpful, generous, and goes above and beyond, The space is perfect--exactly as described--and very close to a cute collection of food trucks and a great pizza place. If you want more, in ten minutes, you'll be in the center of Bend. We enjoyed the farm, the wonderful porch/deck out front, and everything else about our stay.

My parents, myself and my two year old really enjoyed our stay at Donna's farm. Donna was welcoming and took time to show us around the farm. My son had a great time feeding the chickens, goats, and cows, as well as collecting chicken eggs. We also had a wonderful time watching the stars and mountains from the outdoor seating. The rented space itself is very comfortable, clean, and has a lot of nice personal touch to it. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great experience at Freshfields Farm. The home is very clean, comfortable, and well-furnished (including lots of kitchen supplies). It is an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Bend. The farm is charming and the surrounding countryside breathtaking. Best of all, the hosts Donna and Dave, are wonderful. They make sure you feel welcome, are comfortable, and have everything you need - then let you relax and enjoy your stay. Our stay was happy, relaxing, and fun.

Playing in the dirt and being outdoors is what makes me most happy. We have been working very hard to get our farm up and running and bringing it back to life. We are growing organic produce and establishing ourselves with our fresh baked goods on our farm stand as well as our quality farm fresh eggs and produce. Rennovating our wing for our air bnb has been in the master plan and hope that our guests will enjoy the beauty and adventure that this area has to offer while staying in our beautiful accommodations. Being a chef and appreciating our local food scene while supporting our local vendors is something we would love to share with you so you can enjoy them also.
