The Ghillies Hut is set in our sheep field, in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking our Fly Fishery and Farm with amazing views across the valley to the Church in Tenterden.

It has a king-size bed, 2 comfortable whicker chairs to enjoy the view from inside. Tea/coffee/milk provided. Coffee tables.

During your stay you will also have the full use of The Fishery Lodge with a kitchen, 2 ring hob, wc/shower and lakeside balcony. The lodge is only a short walk from the hut.

The space
Outside The Ghillies Hut there is the perfect spot for enjoying a BBQ (provided with coals), listening to the sounds of the countryside and taking in the beautiful view and watching the evening rise on the lake. As the evening draws in, the fire pit can be lit to keep you warm. Our friendly Romney Sheep who graze in our fields, will probably pop by.

You will have full use of our Fishery Lodge with fitted kitchen, 2 ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, shower/wc, table/chairs, comfortable sofa and a lovely verandah to sit and enjoy the views and watch the kingfishers fly past. Our Hut and Lodge provide a very relaxing space for our guests. It's off grid, we just want you to enjoy the nature that surrounds you here. You are very welcome to enjoy our farm & fishery and go for walks and find the lakeside swing. We can even teach you to fish if you were interested in learning a new skill set.

You can walk directly from the hut on our country footpaths up to Tenterden our beautiful tree lined high street, with its many independent shops, pubs and hotels. We even have our own Brewery (Old Dairy) with its tap room and Chapel Down Vineyard is only 10 minutes away by car to enjoy the wine tours, shop and restaurant which is well known. We have an amazing coastline at Camber Sands with its vast sandy beach and dunes and the quaint town of Rye - both only 20 mins away by car. Please view the Guide Book I have provided to see just how much more there is to discover here. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm in the Garden of England to enjoy all that Kent has to offer.
