Where you’ll be

Abergwesyn, Wales, United Kingdom

We love the peace and quiet here and we think it provides the ideal space to relax and unwind; recconect with family and escape the hustle and bustle. However for those that want there is plenty to get up to in the local area. We've got four pubs, two grocery shops and a handful of cafes less than 15 mins drive away. Llanwrtyd Wells is the UK's smallest town and has a host of events going on throughout the year, check out the Alternative World Games, Bog Snorkelling World Championships and the famous Man Vs Horse extreme marathon to name a few. The Abergwesyn common backs onto the farm and is one of the UK's last great wildernesses. There are beautiful walks to be had and true splendid isolation to be found. If you are stuck for ideas just ask us we will point you in the right directions.
Other major attractions include:
Pen Y Fan climbing start point 50mins
Hay on Wye 55 Mins
Brecon (for the Brecon Beacons National Park 40 Mins

During your stay

Welsh Glamping is on a working welsh hill farm so you'll see plenty of lambs hopping about especially early on in the season. Will and Sarah (That's us) both live and work on the farm so we'll be around if you need us. You'll see us every morning topping up water and doing other odd jobs around the farm. If you need anything just let us know and we're more than happy to help. We're also happy to top up logs and charcoal for you and have a card machine as we understand not everyone has cash for the honesty boxes these days.
