The Safari Tent sleeps up to 6, with a double bed, double sofa bed and two staggered single beds in an adjoining smaller safari tent (designed for children). The interior is hand crafted by a local artist and it is situated in six acres of beautiful working orchard boasting gorgeous views across the Exmoor National Park. The yurt has mains electric and lighting with heat by way of a lovely wood burning stove with a BBQ and fire pit provided, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather.

The space
The Safari tents are set in the middle of our beautiful orchard. There are two tents, one has its own toilet, shower and fully kitted out compact kitchen with a double cabin bed. The other is a smaller tent with two single beds, designed with children in mind. The interiors have been decked out to a high standard, using aged cedar which has been hand carved by our friend and local artist Rob Heard.

Torre Cider Farm is an award-winning small scale cider producer. The farm has a Farmhouse Kitchen, selling delicious home-made breakfasts, lunches, snacks and cakes, and of course a delicious cream tea. There is also a farm shop which stocks locally produced foods and craft products, as well as Torre Cider's own cider and apple juice, pressed on site. There is a children's playground and a number of farm animals to visit.

Torre Cider Farm is situated on the borders of the Exmoor Dark Skies Reserve, one of the darkest places in the country with excellent views of the night sky. There is information about local dark skies events available with telescopes available to hire from the nearby Exmoor National Park shop.

Torre Cider Farm is situated about a mile from the A39 and close to Cleeve Abbey, a medieval monastic site owned by English Heritage. Exmoor National Park is literally on the doorstep and the Quantocks Area of Outstanding Beauty is a short drive away. There is a local public house about a third of a mile away down a very quiet country lane and this serves hot food in the evening, other local restaurants are a short drive away. The popular harbour town of Watchet is around 4 miles away and can be reached by way of a well maintained public footpath which runs alongside the local steam railway.
