The Shop on the Bridge is a former jewelry shop that has been converted into a micro house, located in the picturesque village of Pensford. The ground floor features a folding double wall bed and en-suite bathroom. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor living area which features a sofa, kitchenette and dining space. The property is located in the heart of the village with the local convenience store, pub, country walks and the magnificent Pensford viaduct all within one minutes walk.

The space
The Shop on the Bridge is a unique conversion set over two floors with the option for guests to sleep either on the pull down wall bed on the ground floor or on the first floor sofa bed.

Please note the property is very small and is only suitable for either a couple or a couple and one child. The bedroom area is open to the spiral staircase and is not a separate room.

Please also be advised the property is located on the main road through the village and traffic noise could caused a disturbance from time to time for light sleepers.

The village features a local convenience store selling fresh local produce and two pubs, one of which features a beer garden on the banks of the River Chew. The backdrop to the village is the abandoned viaduct which spans across the valley. The village is well located with Bristol 7 miles away and Bath 8 miles away. The property is located on the main road through the village with a bus stop right out side which provides a regular and fast bus to the centre of Bristol (25 minutes). There are a number of scenic walks through the Chew Valley area that start from Pensford.
