Situated in Conondale, around 13 kilometres North-West of the Maleny Township, Down at The Dale is a private, luxury-farm escape for couples. The cabins look out over the Conondale ranges. Serene sunsets, starlit skies, and a warm outdoor fire for toasting marshmallows and cosy nights, make this scenic romantic getaway the perfect country escape. The Retreat Cabin is the perfect place to sit back, sip some wine and admire the beauty of the Hinterland landscape.

The space
Further into the property, and tucked away for privacy, The Retreat is located on the side of one of the farm’s lush, green hills; perched high to be the perfect vantage point for lovers of sunsets. Decorated in a modern industrial style, and furnished with a soft relaxing palette, The Retreat is the perfect place to sit back, sip some wine and admire the beauty of the Hinterland landscape. With a magnificent queen bed, tranquil outdoor bath and a warm fire pit, the cabin was built May to July 2020. The area is completely private and accessible up a separate driveway from the main house.

Our location is perfect for that out-of-town feeling. We're only 15 minutes west of the hustle and beauty of Maleny and 15 minutes east of the gorgeous country town of Kenilworth. Scenic drives through the Sunshine Coast hinterland are available any way you turn, and a 40 minute drive east will find you on the shore of the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches.

Friendly couple from Conondale, Queensland. Owners of an 80 acre cattle farm, and parents to four lovely, adult children and two mischievous cattle dogs, we enjoy a wine or two and and travelling around our beautiful country.

During your stay

Our family live on the site in a private residence, acres away from the cabin. We will be pleased to meet with you and show you around the space and animals on site or if you want that feeling of a completely private escape, we are happy to have you self check-in and just enjoy the sounds of the bell birds in the trees.
