Ray was the perfect host; welcoming a weary cyclist on board his beautiful boat. Offering help & advice & then giving me space to enjoy beautiful Harlingen.

It was a great experience to have a romantic night on the boat in center of Harlingen. Cabins was small, but very nice and clean. Big kitchen, hot shower, heaters... You get all, that you need. And of course great location! Don't miss your chance to visit klipper Anna!

The experience in Ray's boat was great. He welcomed me like friends. Klipper Anna is a great place where spend a night in Harlingen. Bedroom was clean and confortable.

It was a late August afternoon and I was heading out on a long train journey from Hamburg to Vlieland. Sadly my travels were delayed and I missed the last ferry. When I wrote Ray with the request to stay on his ship, he instantaneously replied and helped me out with clear directions. It was no problem to arrive at midnight and the boat was comfortably located near the harbour and train station. You can also wander around some fascinating old Dutch streets surrounding the canels were the ship is anchored. The room itself has a bunk bed, a sink with fresh water and provides a good night sleep. A nice warm shower was down the hall and even a kitchen with coffee and tea is at guests disposal. Altogether, it was a great stay and I can recommend to anyone who is looking for a simple yet more unusual place to stay.
