Jet's place is everything I expected; living and breathing like a local villager. 20 ft away from the ocean with breathtaking view. The family that lives adjacent to jets place were super nice and welcoming. They helped me go shopping for sandals and finding local Internet cafe and touring the village. Away from big city, secluded but jet helped plan public transportation for me that cost less than 10$ to get to from NAIA airport. Chose this spot because it is near the Vietnamese refugee camp that my family once stayed. Perfect for the hardened lone traveler like myself. Jet is great at communicating and very accommodating! Even offered another night for me. Will def stay here again for the local attractions. Thank you so much Jet, it was a pleasure being back in the village after 24 years. Mabuhay!!

Jet is nice, he answered all my inquiry in a quickly manner. He is a good host but you need to ride a motor banca to go to a nice and clean spot to swim. The area is very residential that's why the sea water is not that clean, many trash around.

We were warned that this accomodation was basic so had our standards set low. We have been travelling SE Asia for over two months so are realistic on what we should get. You can get something reasonable for 10 dollars per night. When we arrived we found that we were entering a building site, the room is an extension of the comunual toilet, bare concrete walls with a place to sleep filling the concrete cube. The bed was several layers of blankets with two pillows, everything filthy dirty and probably hosting several species of wild life. As you would expect from a building site everything was covered in thick dust, this place has not been cleaned for a very long time! The worst is that as there is no running water so you are expected to wash with the toilet water which is also used for cleaning yourself as there is no toilet paper. Disgusting and ripe for disease!

Staying is in Filipino style. Small simply room. But ok for backpackers. What was awesome is Jet´s effort. He pickup us in Olongapo and bring his on the place, also we get welcome drink from him.

We actually only wanted to stay there for an afternoon and enjoy the beach but unfortunately it was low tide and we decided to go to a resort with a pool instead .
