Looking for a getaway with your 4-legged loved ones where they are treated as welcomed and valued guests? Shearwater Cottages are comfortable and inviting cottages, where all the family is welcome. Cottage 2 has 2 queen bedrooms, includes air-conditioning, ceiling fans, free wifi and Netflix. All linen is supplied and beds made up to ensure a hassle-free arrival and a 'bumper' breakfast selection is also provided to start your stay. And of course, our fur-guests are most welcome inside!

The space
Shearwater Cottages are situated in beautiful Shoal Bay at Port Stephens and are set in a quiet street of fishermen's cottages and holiday homes, and are close by to Shoal Bay beach and villages plus a short drive from all of the activities Port Stephens offers.

Cottage 1 has 1 Queen sized bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. A comfortable, additional fold out bed can also be supplied for a small extra charge, if required.

The comfortable sun-drenched open plan living area leads out to a courtyard garden that is fully enclosed and gated, ensuring a safe place for your dogs. And of course, our fur-guests are most welcome inside as well.

The cottage also comprises of a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee cap machine as well as a range of tea and coffee supplies. A 'bumper' breakfast selection also awaits the start of your stay. All linen is also supplied (there is no extra cost) and beds are made up to ensure a hassle-free arrival.

The cottage is air-conditioned (split systems) and ceiling fans are also in place in the living area plus each of the bedrooms, ensuring that you will have a comfortable stay.

Other facilities include a separate fully equipped laundry, Smart TV, DVD, along with free wifi and Netflix, comfortable sun-drenched sitting/dining rooms, BBQ facilities and tropical outdoor settings. There is a garage for your car and off street parking as well.

The beautiful, clear waters of Port Stephens bring people back year after year.

Your dogs are welcome inside and each cottage and villa is fenced and secure – we kindly ask that owners provide their dog’s bedding and bowls to help them settle, and ensure their dogs are immunised.

The choice of water activities is staggering- sailing, water-skiing, cruising, fishing, swimming of course, snorkeling, dolphin and whale watching. Also a visit to the area is not quite complete without experiencing the incredible 30km stretch of sand dunes of Stockton Beach either by 4WD, by horse, on foot or even quad-bike.

There are four golf courses, some wonderful bushwalks and walking your dog! And your dog is also catered for with dog-friendly beaches and exercise areas.

The choice of restaurants and clubs grows all the time and The Hunter Wine country is a great day's outing. All this and some of the most beautiful scenery on the Mid-North Coast.

Shoal Bay is one of the bayside villages of Port Stephens with a wide sweeping bay and headland facing out to the sea. Enjoy the glorious sunrises and sunsets, and walks along the beach, surfing, swimming, snorkelling and fishing. A short drive takes you to all the many attractions that Port Stephens has to offer. Remember to say 'Hi' to the locals - we all say 'Hi' back!

The iconic attractions of Port Stephens are all a short drive away - dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, kayaking, cycling, coffee shops, restaurants, fishing, National Parks, walking trails, the breathtaking sand dunes of Biribu Beach plus endless beaches to explore and enjoy.
