Our 1956 converted Milking Barn is between Coos Bay and Coquille, OR. The second (main) floor is the sitting and eating area, where we have a large fire place and huge picture windows. The sliding doors take you onto the deck where you can view the night sky or just relax after a long day of exploring the Oregon Coast. For those wishing to do some crabbing we have a few crab pots upon request. We serve a big country breakfast to a to-go A.M. snack for those who choose.

The space
We have a large guest suite with a top-quality king size bed, sitting area and high ceiling with a window that looks out over our forest where you might catch sight of some dear or other wildlife. It has an attached spa-like bathroom with a mini frig, microwave and coffee bar. There is a 55" TV with DirecTV. Behind the home is a forest with walking trails. The second bedroom is along the same hallway. It has a quality queen bed, across the hall is the bathroom. The second floor offers you some reading materials, or relax in the comfy sitting area, this is also the eating area. Laundry facility, hair dryer, iron/board available upon request.

Where you’ll be

Coos Bay, Oregon, United States

We are in a rural area with lots of trees, there are a few cows in the pastures beside and in front of us. You will drive less than half a mile on maintained gravel road to get to our home. We have some neighborhood peacocks and turkeys that come to visit us almost daily.

Hello! My husband, Ken, and I welcome you! We have lived on the west coast most of our lives. We love it here on the Oregon coast! The temperatures are moderate and the air is fresh and clean. We enjoy traveling and good food. We also love to fish and our lakes and ocean are some of the best places to catch. We are happy to give tips on eating and fishing in our area.
