Mini Dune Dancer is a private guest suite that is attached to our Classic Beach Box style home. We are just a few houses back from the Atlantic Ocean, a quick 5 minute walk to the beach!

Located on a quiet street within walking distance to local restaurants, and coffee shop. Walk to the Atlantic Ocean for sunrise and the Pamlico Sound for sunset!
Enjoy star gazing on your private deck!

The space
Mini Dune Dancer has a private entrance with a kitchenette for your convenience, and a large private deck to sit back and watch the sunsets.

We are close to the Rodanthe Pier, so guests have access to fishing or just sightseeing on the Pier during their vacation.

You will be provided with:

*private decks with your personal outside shower
*beach and bath towels, plus beach chairs
*shampoo, conditioner, body wash
*hairdryer
*bedding
*plates, silverware, glassware, cooking utensils,
salt & pepper
*new outside gas grill
*cooler, located under your deck stairs
*coffee maker with coffee, creamer & sugar
*32" Roku TV with streaming apps available.
*single induction burner with pans and skillets.
*InsantPot for cooking delicious meals quickly,
with an InstantPot cookbook.

We have a remote control ductless mini-split for heating and air conditioning, so guests do not share the same HVAC system as the main
house.

Other things to note
During the Off Season restaurants will close, some stay open all year, or on weekends. Avon 25 minutes south has a few more year round open restaurants, as well as the Northern Beaches, like Nags Head.

Waves Market and Deli is open all year with wonderful sandwiches.
Board Wok is open usually on the weekends during the off season.
A few food trucks also stay open.

Fishing off the Rodanthe Pier is super fun and the admission fee is your fishing license $15, also it's only $2 for daily sightseeing pass if you just like the option to stroll.

If you would like to try fishing at the shoreline you will need to purchase a license and Hatteras Jack's can help you with that and answer "fishing" questions....they are right down the road.

I have a list of near by restaurants, etc inside Mini Dune Dancer.
We're a 2 minute walk to the ocean and 7 minute walk to the sound for all your water sporting adventures.

Kitty Hawk Kites has water sport rentals, plus you can book adventures as well.
Real Watersports is a great place for all your kiteboarding needs. Great place to eat on their back deck to watch all the kiteboarding fun, or catch a fabulous sunset! Duck Village Outfitters rents bikes, kayaks, surfboards, etc.
Island Cycles & Beach Gear Rentals offers Mini Dune Dancer guests a discount, and free delivery.

*During the Off Season many restaurants close during winter in our village. However there are a few that stay open, like Goodwinds on the Pamlico Sound and Waves Market and Deli for fresh made sandwiches and burritos. Further down in Avon (25 minute beautiful drive) there are even more restaurants and the main grocery store (Food Lion) that stay open all year.
