I was born and raised on the island of Jamaica and have been told that my personality is as warm and friendly as the island. I enjoy meeting new people and am fascinated by the nuances that make each one unique.

Among other things, I am a retired cosmetologist and what I miss most about that profession is seeing the smile of satisfaction on a person's face after I have performed a service for them, but thanks to Airbnb, I am able to recapture that experience with every guest!

As for traveling, I have been fortunate to have had a past job that required my traveling to various countries and I have also traveled on vacation. I enjoyed every destination but mostly the tropical locations. I love to visit places where there is an ocean, lake or stream, but rivers are my favorite!

I found out about Airbnb in December 2013 when I was planning a vacation to Jamaica and needed to find affordable accommodation. I am now an Airbnb "convert" and in December 2014, I decided to open up my home to other travelers.

Thanks for reading my profile, and happy traveling!
