Welcome to Log Haven! This hand-hewn log home offers the charm of a 1937 cabin with the comfort of modern amenities. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or a home-base for adventures you're in the right place.
Log Haven sits on two wooded acres and is a photographer's paradise! There are beds to sleep 8 and with the sofa bed groups of up to 10 can be comfortably accommodated. There is ample outdoor living space including a 15' covered picnic table. Wildlife including deer, elk, fox, Albert squirrels, and a variety of birds are frequent visitors. There are countless trails in the immediate vicinity for hiking, biking, or even a leisurely nature walk. Please note that listing pictures do not yet reflect updated furnishings in some rooms. The home is a 2,000+sq.ft. raised ranch with the following layout:
Main level features: Cozy living area with wood burning stove and boardgames. Spacious galley kitchen with range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and small appliances. Dining room, sunroom, master bedroom (queen bed), second bedroom (full bed), loft (two twin beds), small full bathroom, and laundry.
Walkout basement features: Quaint mother-in-law apartment with full bed, kitchen with 3/4 size appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave), utilitarian shower and small washroom.
Guests have access to the entire cabin, but I ask that you kindly refrain from exploring the basement storage rooms that are labeled "private".

I'm a Colorado near-native who keeps busy playing outdoors. Camping, gardening, and snowboarding are my go-to activities, and I also enjoy hiking and riding my motorcycle around the stunning foothills. I love animals, craft beer, and bluegrass/jam bands.
