This beach house is located along the Sotoura Coast, accessible by bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station. 50 m from the Sotoura Coast. You can access the beach barefoot, and there is also an outdoor shower, so it is comfortable.

This cottage has a 6-tatami bedroom, a living room (4.5 tatami + 8 tatami flooring, including kitchen), a washroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a 100-inch large screen projector.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove (2 burners), fridge, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils, and dishes. There is a hot spring inn (from 700 yen per adult), Himono-ya-san, a morning harvested vegetable shop, a delicious bakery, and a set meal shop within walking distance.
From waking up in the morning to sleeping at night, it is the perfect location to feel the sea and spend a relaxing time with your family and friends.

About grocery shopping
There are no restaurants, izakayas, or convenience stores nearby.
If you are cooking, we recommend that you shop for groceries around Shimoda Station (within 3 km, there is a Toukyu store, Aeon, etc. open 24 hours a day, etc.), or at the mobile supermarket that comes in front of the house on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:30 pm, or at the vegetable shop within walking distance.
There is no TV
There is no TV, but there is a 100-inch large screen projector. Please bring your favorite DVDs and enjoy watching them. (HDMI input OK)
About the bedding
Please make the extra bed in the bedroom and the futon in the living room as needed.
Parking
It is located just a 1-2 minute walk from the inn. There is space in front of the house, so you can unload your luggage and then move it. Please note that the space in front of the inn is a no parking area.

The Sotoura Coast is a popular area for locals and families, with its clear sea and beautiful white sandy beach of about 400 m located at the back of the bay.
Surrounded by deep mountains, the waves are always calm and shallow. You can observe the rocky shores on both sides, making it a great place for families with small children. The calm cove is the best field for paddle sports such as SUP and canoeing.
You can also enjoy the atmosphere of the village, where people have lived since ancient times, and stroll along the coast.

And if you like fishing, the best spots are right in front of the house!
Popular fish include whiting and horse mackerel from the sandy beaches and breakwaters, and there is also a fishing tackle shop within walking distance, so you can also buy bait such as isome and okiami locally.
For offshore fishing by pleasure boat, we recommend grunt fish and sea bream.

Furthermore, Izu is a surfing mecca!
