Overall the house was nice. Sunny mornings by the pool were lovely. The kitchen isn't very well stocked [one useable frying pan made breakfast difficult] and one of the bedrooms was absolutely freezing no matter how high we turned up the heat - no extra blankets around - so this really ruined our sleep the whole time we were there. Probably great in the summer but in January a real bummer! The lights were not left on so when we arrived so it was a real mission to get inside [there are like 6 doors on the property so it wasn't clear where to go] even with headlights blaring took a solid while to get inside - once in there were no lights on either so it was a mission to feel around all the walls to find a switch [incidentally, figure out later that some of the lights are on remote controls for the ceiling fans which made this even more difficult]. It was also not clear that the heat was not on when we arrived, nor was it obvious where the thermostat was, so the first night was positively frigid. I think this house would be perfect in the spring, summer, fall - but not a great stay in the winter.

Jacqueline was a great host, any questions we had were answered very quickly and she was always courteous and informative. The property itself is rustic, there are a few things that could use updating, but the main things like bathroom kitchen and bedrooms were more than adequate and very clean and comfy for our party of four. Our only issue was that there are no tv channels, we are not really people that go out much in the evening so it was odd sitting in a house with no outside communications. But in the end it made us go out and enjoy Palm Springs at night, which was refreshing. The area itself is wonderful too, very peaceful and quiet, and so picturesque. The best feature was the pool. There were four pool loungers (2 seats and 2 lilos). The seats were so comfortable that we did not want to get out of the pool! We had a wonderful time here, once you get past the couple of pieces that need updating, the property really was great. Thanks Jacqueline for your hospitality

Jackie's place was great! 6 of us fitted easily albeit 2 people on couches, but the amount of space was the most impressive part. Big living room, separate dining area, 2 showers, a good sized pool, and a great roof terrace for some evening drinks! Jackie herself was so responsive with anything we needed - she even sent a handyman over instantly when we locked ourselves out of one of the rooms. We were here for the Film Festival - you definitely need to drive or uber everywhere as its so hot but nothing is more than 10 mins away. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely loved the house! Located in a lovely area of Palm Springs, the house is well-decorated and in a good condition. A few lights weren't working but nothing major. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely try and come back again!

Lovely stay for myself and a few girlfriends. Wish we had booked a few more days! Enjoyed evenings on the rooftop and spending the afternoons by the pool.
