Beautiful and walkable

Guests say this area is scenic and it’s easy to get around.
Mezzo is the middle floor of an old house (built 1890) It has been modernised with airconditioning and hotel standard bathrooms.

The three bedrooms each sleep 2 people, there are 2 bathrooms one with bath as well as shower.

It it easily accessible by road from the airport. The Old Town, with its wealth of historic buildings and great bars, cafes and restaurants is a short walk down hill as are 2 local beaches.

From the terrace you can see Old Town, Lovrijenac, the sea and Lokrum Island

The space
Mezzo occupies the middle floor in this modernised stone built and UNESCO protected house.
It has its own lockable entrance from its terrace and is further protected by an old but stout stone wall.
The apartment is a short walk either via steps or step free route to the Pile Gate/Ploce Gate.

We have furnished the apartment with a mix of antique and modern furniture. The parquet flooring is original.

Mezzo comprises 1 large master with large double bed 2 further bedrooms with twin beds; 2 hotel standard shower rooms - one with additional full size bath tub. There are separate air-conditioning units in each room. In cooler months these serve as heaters.

The kitchen/living room has a flatscreen smart TV
The kitchen area is fully equipped with 2 ring ceramic hob, crockery and cutlery and kitchen essentials

Bed linen is changed weekly and towels twice weekly.

The House Manager may be able to do private laundry by arrangement.

Guest access
Dubrovnik is built on a hill. There are steps everywhere both in the Old Town and getting around outside the Old Town. There is a step free route to and from the Old Town from the house as well as a stepped one. Please ask for directions if you need them.

The terrace has lovely views of the City Walls, the Sea and the garden.

We offer a 10% discount on stays of 7 nights and which is reflected in the quote.

Each apartment has the right to use ONE bay on the parking lot for which we make no charge. (There is a possibility that ANPR will be introduced during 2025. We will keep you informed if we find anything).

This house belongs to our late mother’s family. My brother and I were steeped in family and local history and spent all summer here as children. In fact both house and garden are listed as cultural monuments. It’s a pleasure to share the house so others can experience Dubrovnik, the sea, the culture and great food.
