Stunning new barn conversion situated on a Thoroughbred Stud farm, in a peaceful, unspoilt location, with amazing views over the Stour Valley.
A light and spacious, well-equipped open plan kitchen/living with 2 large en-suite double bedrooms. The perfect country escape, located in a quiet Hamlet of outstanding natural beauty. Great for long country walks and bike rides, or a quiet evening in watching the sunset. Local pubs restaurants and amenities all near by as well as historical sites.

The space
The property consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms both with their own separate staircases. The vaulted open plan living has a comfortable corner sofa. There is a country oak table and chairs for 6 and 2 bar stools against a stunning oak island, where you can enjoy the honesty bar or a bottle of complimentary wine. There is a spacious sitting room/3rd bedroom with a sofa bed and bi-folding doors onto a south facing patio.
The second bedroom is above the garage which houses a table tennis table (bats and balls provided) and a barbecue for guests use.
Some garden machinery is kept in the garage.
The whole apartment is for the guests use.

Guest access
The guests have access to the whole apartment and the use of the table tennis in the garage below(the family do not use the table when guests are staying). There is a small garden space on the east side of the property laid to lawn and a south facing patio with a beautiful rattan sofa/ dining set which is for the guests use. There is a lower herb garden to the south of the property which is also for the guests use.

An excellent location for walkers served by numerous footpaths. The local Pubs “The Ship” and “The Stapleton Arms” both with extensive menu are a 1 hour’s walk through beautiful open countryside or a 10 minute drive by car.
The town of Gillingham is a 10 minute drive and has numerous supermarkets, garden centres and sports facilities including a public indoor pool and a tennis club where you can pay a daily fee.
The picturesque towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are a 15 and 25 minute drive and the historic City of Bath can be reached within an hour.
Bruton described in The Times as UK’s Coolest Town is a 15 minute drive where Art lovers will find Hauser & Wirth Art Gallery with local Farm shop and renowned Roth Bar and Grill restaurant. Also “At The Chapel” a converted 18th Century congregational Chapel. Has a delicious bakery and eat in or out pizzas as well as a delicious menu.
The Newt celebrates the cider season in style visitors can try their hand at apple shy and skittles with cider or apple juices as prizes. The Newt also hosts live music, tractor tours, deer park, tastings and workshops. There is also an amazing Garden restaurant overlooking the beautiful grounds. (20 min drive)
Stourhead House & Gardens has been the setting for many romantic dramas and has stunning lake walks (15 min drive)
Stonehenge, Longleat House & Safari Park and Wilton House and gardens are all within an easy 40 minute drive.
With the picturesque Jurassic Coast only one hours drive away, perfect for a day of fossilising and long costal walks or just a day on the beach.
