Ray and Rosemary were wonderful host. Their house is beautiful and the grounds are breathtaking. It was quite off the beaten path which is what I was looking for the house is gorgeous and Ray and Rosemary are wonderful company. I would definitely recommend having the campfire breakfast. I will be looking forward to my next stay with Ray and Rosemary.

We had a wonderful visit! Very quiet. Amenities were as described (chemical toilet in a closet downstairs, limited kitchen facilities, fire pit for cooking) and setting was enchanting. Quietest nights we've spent. Ray and Rosemary are wonderful and the breakfasts alone will have us coming back. We had some slight confusion checking in, there was some renovation work not described in the listing, and there were some hiccups getting settled in. But once we were set, it was an absolutely perfect weekend. Many thanks!

The cottage was exactly as expected. All of our needs were met and the listing helped us know all of its unique aspects in advance. There were no surprises. The property is naturally beautiful. We felt like we were walking on a private homestead of a time gone by. The pond, log cabins and campfire area are tranquil and beautifully landscaped. The cottage bed was especially comfortable. The relaxing play of rain on the tin roof lulled us to sleep. We could not fit in a home cooked breakfast, but we look forward to experiencing it since we promise to be back. Ray and Rosemary went out of their way to prepare for our visit and to make our stay very comfortable!

The trip to this cabin was a blast! Ray and Rosemary were amazing hosts, proving to be caring and gentle from the first moment. They cooked a delicious breakfast for us on the first morning and were very helpful to prepare our hikes into the hills . The cabin has a very enchanting look and feel (beware, there's no shower!), and the property is beautiful - like being in another dimension. Totally recommended.

Wonderful experience staying at Timberwinds II. Ray and Rosemary have a wonderful place and it was a time spent well relaxing and enjoying the local scene. The place was very clean and as described. Ray was the perfect host and kindly had the house heating ready before we reached. While unfortunately we couldn't savor Rosemary's cooking especially biscuits, they were wonderful hosts and provided us with eggs, fruits and other items. The Mason jars filled with juice and milk were a treat. A direction note for anyone who is reaching after dusk as we did..once you turn into house lane skip the first house and take the left there u will see the lane and directions posted (we reached it late and missed it the first time in our groggy state)
