Our light, bright, 2 bedroom townhouse is superbly situated for convenience. On street parking, bus almost to door. Cafes, restaurants, parks. Garden - sit and read or eat outdoors. Airport and university close by.

The space

We have high ceilings, lots of sun and walls full of art. The guest bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed, lovely linen. It is not a large room but big enough to be comfortable, with drawers, side table, wardrobe, console and luggage rack. There are tea making facilities in your room but please do not cook anything in your room. The guest bathroom and lavatory are not ensuite, but are just across the hall with a bath and a shower. The bathroom floor tiles are not heated but we do have a heater and a thick rug.
We have many good cafes and restaurants near us, beautiful walks, a library close by, a supermarket and on Saturday a lively farmers market selling amazing food and coffee. We have a good coffee machine (Rocket 61). and we can serve you a continental breakfast consisting of cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast etc by arrangement.
We can transfer you to and from the airport for a small fee (15.00 each way) if you need that.
We have a dining room, living room and sunny outdoor living area you are welcome to use. We don't watch TV much, (it is available but don't have Sky,) have Netflix and Apple TV, read heaps of books, have a wine most nights and like sitting round the dining table with friends and family.

Guest access

Guests will have access to all of the living area in the house, including the garden. Only the hosts' bedroom is closed. Washing machine, dryer and clothes line available.

Interaction with guests

When people are sharing a smallish space(110 sq meters) it is important to have a respectful but friendly relationship. As hosts we would like to be sensitive to the needs of our guests. We can either be very interactive or hardly at all, it depends what you prefer.
We do have a little dachshund, she loves people and she gives a great welcome....

Other things to note

We are happy to go the extra mile for our guests, if you have a problem or we can drop you somewhere, we will try to help.

A nice, quiet, comfortable stay quite close to the University of Canterbury with all the amenities necessary to make your stay awesome. The neighborhood is really nice and also quiet, good to go out for a run/walk. Jenny and Dennis are amazing people who will make you feel like home and who are always happy to have a chat at the end of the day. They were always really helpful and flexible in terms of check-in/check-out. I´ll definitely recommend this place to all of those travelling for business or pleasure, you won´t regret!
