It was prime location for skiing/snowboarding at Belleayre, only 5-10 mins away. Since we were only staying one night, we decided to go out for dinner in a nearby town, Phoencia, which is just 10 mins away. We got there after spending the day at the slopes. Check-in time was flexible. The cabin can easily sleep 6-8 people comfortably. The parking in front of the cabin can prob fit 3-4 cars.
Our biggest concern was the WiFi. There is no cell phone service, which we were fine with. However, without WiFi it was hard to contact anyone. Luckily, we didn't have any emergency. We spoke to Tasha, who was overseeing the property and she explained that the WiFi was sometimes not the greatest. It worked for the first 5 mins we were in the house and then it did not work the rest of the stay. The TV also does not have any channels.
We also blew a fuse in the house when we were blow drying our hair but easily found the fuse box since we had tried earlier to look around the cabin for the WiFi modem to try and restart it. The bathroom included some towels and soap/shampoo.
There are limited utensils in the kitchen. If you plan to cook, you'll have to bring the basics, such as salt/pepper, oil and aluminum foil. There are pots, pans and sheet pans.
