Where you’ll be

Herefordshire, England, United Kingdom

Perched dramatically above the River Wye, Ross is the southern gateway to Herefordshire, the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean and the dramatic Symonds Yat. Hailed as the birthplace of modern tourism.
There are so many beautiful places to explore locally, whether you want to take in the stunning scenery, visit a castle, Tintern Abbey or peruse the picturesque market towns and villages. It is also the perfect base for those looking for something more strenuous or adventurous. The river Wye is renowned for it's canoeing, the Forest of Dean for it's cycle trails, both family and off road, the Malverns and black mountains for walking and Symonds Yat for climbing and peregrine falcon spotting.
There are some lovely little restaurants and pubs to walk to in Ross and some great pubs within a short drive. We have tried many of them and can make recommendations for these and activities/days out, please just ask.
