A great place to wind down to after a long day of kite-surfing on Kalpitiya Lagoon.
The price is for the whole cabin and there are two cabins available.
Chamil's is a cute little house (or a big fancy cabin, depending on how you see it) in a nice garden filled with coconut trees. With a nicely done double bedroom, private bathroom, a kitchen with a fridge and gas cooker, this place is ideally suited to settle donw for a couple of weeks of kite-surfing mayhem.
Chamil's is very close to the lagoon and beach, making it a perfect starting point for dolphin and whale watching (in season), island watching, diving and, off course, diving.
Interaction with guests
Chamil lives next door with his wife and two kids. He's always there for you, to arrange transport, activities and delicious food that his wife cooks. Chamil's sister runs a restaurant nearby.
Neverbeen offers a wide variety of rare homes off the beaten track, from fisherman's huts and tree houses to heritage homes and tea estates. Our team hand-picks and visits every home and meet all hosts to make ensure guests have a positively memorable stay in places they've never been.
We provide travellers and home owners in challenging locations with access to one another, by offering communication services, online marketing services and tourism training, so that locals can make a living off their home and travellers can get to stay in places they have never been.
As such, Neverbeen works for a world in which everyone has the chance to earn income by renting out their home, regardless of language, internet access and tourism experience.
In Sri Lanka, Dishan manages our growing group of homes in cooperation with our scouts, while Rohan creates listings and provides service. In Amsterdam, Marten works out international growth plans. Our team of in-house programmers is constantly developing the platform itself and Ernst & Young does our finances.
The first country we're active in is Sri Lanka, a beautiful country with many undiscovered places to stay. Due to it recently having opened up to tourism after decades of conflict, it is a great place to start and pilot the Neverbeen concept. We plan to expand to ten countries before the end of 2017.
