Many original features in this 270 year old stone built cottage ,which has been lovingly renovated by Peter to a high standard.
Garden with pergola, BBQ.
Peak district has lots to do.
Walk 6 nature & history trails from cottage. 4 pubs and farm shop.
Dove Dale, and 51 more Dales .
Matlock , Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, steam train, Tram Way Museum .

The space
Good size bedroom with double bed and Egyptian bed linen ,towels. Original 270 year old tree purlins in vaulted ceiling. Stone window mullions with window seat. Large mahogany 3 door wardrobe with press. Dresser and chair.
TV with DVD player. Original fireplace.

Kitchen diner to seat up to 6 people, Stanley cast Iron cooker, 2 induction rings for summer use, fridge and separate freezer, washing machine tumble dryer, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, tea ,coffee instant and fresh orange juicer, lots of cooking equipment. Original oak beams . Original stone window mullions.

Wet room with power shower, sink, toilet.

Lounge with original stone window mullions, original oak beams, original fireplace with wood burner. New sofa which converts into a double bed suitable for 2 adults. Storage for all bed linen.
TV with DVD player, Iron and Ironing board.
Table for working on.
Internet speed 46 Mbps.

Outside garden, Weber BBQ and patio area.
Parking for one car on driveway next to barn, free parking on road.

Guest access
Parking in the village is good and free. Bus service to Chesterfield and Matlock is excellent and throughout the day.
Walk to country pub with food 200 yards away, walk to farm shop with indoor and outdoor cafe, deli, fresh meat, vegetables, milk, bread etc 500 yards away.
Ashover village 1 mile away by car or walk on marked footpaths.

Other things to note
Ashover has a number of pubs, shops and old church. Lots of history . Book on walks and some historical facts.

Hi I’m Peter. Coming to Mull to see the wild life , eagles , falcons , otters, deer etc I may bring my bicycle if there are some flat ish roads around your house and the weather is ok. Where can one buy fresh fish and shellfish on the island? Kind regards Peter Cassidy
