A stunning Victorian house in the centre of Hebden Bridge. A 5 minute walk from local pubs, restaurant and shops. Ideally located for the Pennine way and local walks. Quiet location beside the canal and woodland. The house is full of original features and beautiful antiques. It features a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher,. The house also has a lovely big bathroom with shower and antique bath. There is an open fire in the living room and wood burning stove in the kitchen.
The space
You will have use of a cosy living room complete with William Morris decor and open fire. A fully functioning kitchen, with dining table and a wood burning stove. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer for your use and coffee and tea available.
There is a large bedroom with a double bed. And a large bathroom with separate shower and a antique roll top bath tub.
Guest access
You will have the property to yourself consisting of a living room, kitchen, bathroom and large double bedroom. There is a small outside space with a table and chairs and a fire pit. The attic is a private space and will be closed to guests.
Other things to note
My old cat Buttons live at the property. He is very gentle and loves people- he will be very happy to have your company. I will leave food so you can feed him. He has a thyroid issue which is why he is so small and skinny. He is also very vocal when he is hungry- please feed him! Usually around 4 packets of food a day. I’m happy for you to bring a dog if you feel he will be ok with the cat. A dog sometimes stays at the property. So we are definitely not a pet free environment. Buttons had no issue with dogs if they are cat friendly.
