Enjoy your own private, over 1-acre St. Lawrence River RV/Tent camp with two electric, water, and septic hookups, along with 50 foot dock for swimming, fishing and small boat docking and access to the Thousand Islands. Bring your own RV(s) and tents. The property provides stunning views of passing ships, gorgeous sunsets, Crossover Island, and the nearby Canadian coast. The camp includes a 1/2 bath house with faucet sink, toilet, and indoor lighting (no shower stall, bathtub or hot water).

The space
The grounds are elevated above the river for fantastic views. River access is a short decline walk, which leads to stairs down further to the dock. Small boat dockage is allowed. The water is clean and clear and great for swimming. The river is great for fishing by boat.
Like the rest of the River, the shore has stones, so bring foot gear for the water. The water is relatively shallow around the dock, 2-4 feet deep, but tides can change that and the water gets deeper out past the dock. There is an electric outlet on the dock (not for boat plug-in).
The walk up from the dock may provide a bit of trail exercise, and be a challenge for anyone with walking impairments. For those who like to explore, the 126 feet of shoreline property includes some coastal tree hideaways for additional swimming and fishing.
There two small fire pits. Extra parking space for vehicles and boats is included. The camp ground also includes a good sized 1/2 bath house with working faucet sink, toilet, and indoor lighting (no shower stall, bathtub or hot water). Tents are welcome.
Free, public small boat launch access can be found up the road, only about a mile away at Oak Point Marina. Boat launch not provided on RV Camp, but you can dock your boat and jet skis at camp, being mindful of the depth and tide, and/or return it to your trailer through Oak Point at evening/night. Depending on the climate, the water depth around the dock can range from almost 2 feet on the shallow end, to four feet on the deeper end. Like all docks, this is can change subject to tides and weather. There is room to park your boat and trailer on the River Campana grounds. You can fish on the dock- children will enjoy the catch and release experience. By boat, fisherman take to the river in the area for a good day's fishing.
On the grounds, automatic pole night lighting is provided from the higher level of the 2-acre property, to provide some visibility. This can be permanently turned off with on request.

Wildlife you can expect to see include minks, rabbits, chipmunks, finches, seabirds and fish. This is your place on the River.

Hammond, New York, United States

Kayak rentals (some deliver), Black Lake fishing and a wine vineyard are nearby. Alexandria Bay Village is just under a 20 minute drive. There is also a Drive-In Movie Theater in Alexandria Bay. Clayton is about 30 minutes away and has many great village attractions.
